Which model of computer is the cheaper version of the Alienware M17X?
Is it Clevo, Asus, Sager,? Thanks
The two first answers are completely wrong. Where do you guys get your information? Alienware uses other companies chassis then jacks the price up on them. Just like the M17 is actually a OCZ DIY Whitebook, or a Cyberpower M1 Extreme. The Alienware M17X IS someone elses chassis, I just can't remember who's.
Dell bought Alienware in 2006. But, the only laptop that would qualify as a cheaper version of the M17X would be the M17. Other companies just make models that are called gaming computers. These competitors are made to different standards than M17 or M17X and sometimes cost less.
