How do I modify start up settings on my computer? [windows xp]?
I have windows XP. My little cousin recently visited and messed around on my laptop. Now everytime I start my computer a login menu pops up and I have to click enter, it's annoying because I have to wait for it to come up now and then my programs can load. When I click on Menu and click on shut down, a different menu appears as well, it isn't the button menu anymore, it's a drop down menu. I would really appreciate help. Thank you.
Control Panel>User accounts.
Change the way users log on or off.
Put a check in the box for "Use the Welcome screen"
And Put a check in the box for "Use Fast User Switching.
And reboot.
